OHIO SOUTH/KENTUCKY CHAPTER
CIDLO - Is the Coalition of Interior Designers for Legislation in Ohio. As an Ohio legislative grassroots organization, CIDLO
exists first and foremost to establish a responsible level of interior design practice standards for those that want to identify
themselves as interior designers.
The mission of CIDLO shall be to set the State of Ohio interior design professional practice standards for education,
experience, and examination required to protect the health and safety of the public. CIDLO shall promote a favorable
business environment for interior designers in Ohio and protect their right to practice.

KIDLO - Is the Kentucky Interior Design Legislative Organization. KIDLO was very instrumental in the passing of KRS 323.400 -
KRS 323.416 in 2002, which sets forth legislation for certification of interior designers. The governing body for certification is the
Kentucky Board of Architects who is now accepting applications and certifying interior designers. If you have any further questions
